Background has nothing to do with.
What exactly is wrong with your eyesight? I'm pretty sure you can fly as long as it correctable to 20/20. Now if you are colorblind or have no depth perception then your chances are nil.
Just because you have a 4 year degree doesn't mean you automatically get to become a pilot, but its the first step.
If you seriously want to be a pilot and fly you are going to have to tough it out at the university no degree =no commission = no pilot wings. After you graduate you'll have to go to Officer training school and hope you get a pilot slot there. If you have an ROTC program at your university you can join there and try to get a pilot slot through them. Keep in mind that there are limited slots so they're highly competitive.
Okay lets visit the other scenario, say your drop out ...no possiblity of being a pilot but you can still be an enlisted aircrew member in the AF. The pay is less than a pilot but its still a fun job and there are different ones to choose from. You will have to go to basic training, which is 9 weeks long now. Then your technical school for a couple months then onto your base. Aircrew jobs you can look into are Loadmaster, Aerial Gunner, Boom Operator, Flight Attendant, Helicopter Flight engineer...no college degree needed for these but you will have to take the ASVAB and get a decent score. But if a pilot is what you really want to be these jobs won't compare cuz you'll be in the back of the airplane kicking yourself for dropping out of school.

Your bad eyesight will disqualify you from the aviator program for the Air Force. Your ethnic background does not effect anything. It's all about test scores and physical abilities.
To become a pilot you must have a 20/20 vision, but I think the Army do accept helicopter pilots that have a correctable 20/20 vision.

well that would be pretty dumb considering you must have a 4 year degree before you can be an Officer, and you must be an Officer before you can fly. your ethnicity has SQUAT to do with whether or not you will be picked up. Your uncorrected vision can be no worse than 20/40.

Your ethnic background will have no bearing at all.
With bad eye sight, you have no chance at all, unless it can be corrected with PRK or Lasik eye surgery.
If you drop out of the university, you have no chance to be a pilot.
Pilots are officers,
Which means you need a BS degree.

bad eyesight. you have to have perfect eyesight to be a pilot. Air force or not. plus, you have to go through years in the Air Force before you become an officer so you can even become a pilot. unless you take rotc in college or go to the air force academy
