i went out with a guy who had a bad reputation as a player a couple years ago. and sure enough, it didnt end well. after hating him for about a year, i forgave him and now we're friends again. but the chemistry is back. this year he has only gone out with one girl. and he likes me a lot now. i like him too. all my friends except for one are telling me how disappointed they'll be if i go out with him. except my best friend who wants me to be happy.
1) just friends, i dont want to get hurt
2)go for it, some people change
3) friends with benefits.
what should i do?

Maybe five him ONE more try, and tell him that both of you should really make an effort to make it work, because otherwise it's pointless. But if you still like him, don't give up on him, like he did not give up on you.
Good Luck!

Your true friends, like your best friend, want you to be happy. The others are being negative, and it's really none of their concern who you go out with. The choice should be yours. I think you should follow your heart. If you like him, and he's really changed his ways, then do what you feel is the right thing. Sometimes other people's advice is for their benefit and not yours, but I realize it's often hard to tell the difference.

so obviously your best friend actually really IS a best friend, since she's not holding you back from what you really want to do . and your friends are just being good friends based on past experiences between you two. they're just looking out for you, you know ? but i suggest you wait it out a little bit . you know ? i can understand that you dont want to get hurt like last time, so just be friends for now ,learn to trust him and build a foundation for a good and strong relationship. if he's worth it and he really likes you as much as (i guess) he makes it seem like, and if it's meant to be, then you'll realize it and go for it when the time comes. i promise you ,you WILL get to a point where you'll realize if it's the right thing to do or not. so GOOD LUCK WiTH THAT ! much love and i hope you're happy with whatever you choose to do :]

Tell Him "Hit the Road Jack, and Don't come Around No More No More No More." Once a Player always a Player. He will Drop you like a Bad Habit once he gets what he wants.
You can do much better than this trash.

ok one and two. this is like one of my friends execpt she went out with a guy 3 times and every time i told her. hes not different but she didn't and the relationship ended in two weeks all 3 times. so some people don't change but if he likes you enough he will.

i think you should give it some time. don't rush it. wait to c if he is rele dedicated to you. if he leaves and goes for another girl he's probably a player. if he doesn't leave your side during the few days your taking it easy~ then give it shot. and if you do go out, dont go head over heels for him just in case he still is a player. but if he's good for about a few weeks, then care and love him all you want =]

Friends with benefits are the best you are going to get....guys (especially players) never change no matter what they try to make you believe.

We all grow up at different speeds, for me, a certain person only became a reality when I spent time away from them, that's when I realized that I couldn't be without them.
