u should never do that. why would your friends tell u to be somone you're not? if they dont like you the way you are, then they're not true friends and you need to be around ppl who love you for who you are. everyone is special and unique in their own way

Why on earth would your friends tell you that you should act like someone you're not? That's insane. They should like you for who you are. You should always be yourself, because if you aren't true to yourself you'll lead an empty life and will never be truly happy.

NO! Never act someone you are not because you need to act your self. trust me, i used to do that and it seemed like it was working, but in the long run, it shut me down, i lost some friends and people looked down at me! just be yourself! your a one of a kind! use your talents!

You should never pretend to be someone you are not because that would make you a phony and if your friends are good friends then they should like a phony but accept the real you that you are.

i mean what more is there to do if you don't want to step up for yourself and be who you want to be, then you'll be what they say -> a nobody. just a mat that your friends get to step on and use daily. you'll regret it. and it hurts.
