run around like a crazy loose bull and after a minute or two you'll get tired and just hop into your bed and you'll fall asleep!!!!!
plus you can get some excersise too!!!!!!!!

this may be a bit long, but i, like you have trouble sleeping. i personaly drink a glass of milk (in a slipee cup, it may sound weird, but try it! it's better then sitting up drinking it! drink slow......) in bed as i read a book. i put a warm wash cloth over my forehead and eyes. imajen your on your fave spot on earth, with your crush. hear the sounds that you might hear there. think of what good happened in the day. write in a journal what happened that day, right before bed. write only good stuff. i also put the t.v. on mute or a low volume and watch the pictures. make sure it isn't a murder show! really, i sleep with a teddy bear. i tell him if i'm sad, and i don't want to talk to everyone else. it may seem kid like, but it helps! also do yoga! here's the things you have to have planned put:
blue walls are a real go go! they put you at ease. also, a soft yat not to soft bed will do very well! sleep on the floor once a month for your back! it might seem uncomfortable, but your back will ease, and it will make it seem more comfortable in bed. i have a pillow that vibrates. i lay on it when i drink the milk, read, and watch t.v. a good, un clutered room will make your parents happy and you fall asleep!

p.s. ask your doctor about a sleeping pill! i got one for kids, but it works really well!

Get into a routine. Start by eating a good meal around 6pm. Be in bed by 10:30. Make sure your ready for the next day. Your cloths should be washed and ready to go. Go for a short walk or sit outside and watch the sun go down. Listen to music, read or watch TV. (stuff not to difficult to wind down). Take a shower. Check all the doors again and make sure they a locked. Get comfortable in bed. Temp should be 65-72. Get a good blanket in the winter. It is hard to fall a sleep if your cold. Go to the bathroom right before you go to bed even if you don't have to. Counting sheep doesn't do it for me. I have to think about gravity and what causes it. It helps me to write down what bothers me, stuff i can't do any thing about it at that time. Or I write down good ideals I have to improve some thing. First thing In the morning I write short part of my dreams I can remember and if I sleep good.

Wait until you are tired before getting in bed. If you aren't ready for bed, you can lay there and get rested before falling asleep.
