i even went on my friend's scale and it said i lost the same amount ofweight. ive been walking because of school and i eat less and healthier than i have. (not totally healthy) anyway, it shows, but not too much. my dad says some of it is muscle. anyway, what's up with my situation and will i ever completely lose the weight? i have to right?... btw, my pants fit better, so maybe i was borderline the next size or something. also, i have 40 pounds altogether to lose. now i have 23 left.

it depends on the way you are losing them - if you do it healthy you should be seeing more results in clothes than scale (which is pretty irrelevant measurement, just like BMI). If you have been losing it unhealthily by cutting a lot of calories/depriving your body you lose water weight and muscle and slow down metabolism and it all will come back because you are not gona be able to maintain it.
you can only lose fat by creating just a slight deficit in daily caloric intake.
eat 5-6 small meals a day, balanced meals, lots of water, cardio 4-6 times a week, light weight training.

I'm not sure of your background, but if you had about 40 lbs to lose in the first place it's probably evenly being lost all over your body. I think the fact that your pants feel like they fit better is very encouraging and means you're on the right track. Keep it up and I promise you'll get there. Make sure you're doing cardio along with strength training. The more muscle, the more calories you'll burn and the weight will come off even faster!

You could be losing water or muscle weight. Although the first few pounds lost are usually water weight anyway.

Are you eating enough protein and doing strength training?

Have you measured yourself to check for inch loss? Perhaps you are losing from some areas more than others, i.e. losing more of the waist than the hips.

i think it relies upon on the place you lose the load. i latterly lost 6 pounds (not on purpose, i substitute into ill) and that i went from a length 5 to a three. you in all threat can get into the subsequent length down. basically attempt it. And you're able to attempt different manufacturers too, because of the fact from time to time even a length 7 fits me, while others fall backpedal to the floor, lol.

you're going to build muscle and lose fat at the same time. keeeeep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat so you may not actually lose as much as you hope as quickly as you're trying.

try jogging if you can. it burns more calories. also, 40 lbs is a lot to lose, make sure you spread it out over time!

well you are loosing the weight and that is great, all you have to do now is tone you muscles, not only walking, try pilates, yoga, body sculpting, that'll help you loose inches.
