We'll if that means no cane sugar only, then I congratulate you on winning $5,000.
In the USA, it' easy to avoid cane sugar. A high percentage of the sodas are made with high fructose corn syrup which is derived from corn. Although, you can loosely categorize corn as a grass.
100% fruit juices are a marketing ploy where they used concentrated fruit juice in place sugar, but sugar is sugar in my book, but based upon your agreement it should be acceptable since it's sweetness is derived from fruit juice.
Avoid products that use sucrose and you're home free - breads, candies, chips, other processed foods.
If I made the bet I would have included high fructose corn syrup and and concentrated fruit juices.... Maybe have you follow the Atkin's Diet - Induction phase for a month. Now that's a challenge.

I am a self-proclaimed sugar addicts, and I haven't eaten anything with sugar in about 7 years, and it was easy after about 5 days when the cravings totally disappeared. The secret is to also cut out simple carbs that convert quickly into sugar, like white flour, rice, white potatoes, and stuff like that (check out a glycemic index and stay with the lower-numbers). Simple carbohydrates cause you to keep craving the sugars. But seriously, the cravings go away in 4-5 days and it becomes really easy to drop weight also.
By the way, it's not as hard as everyone is saying. It was, before that whole Atkins thing came out. I used to have to go to the health food store for everything. Now you can buy ketchup, peanut butter, and just about anything else in the regular grocery store.
I wish someone had given me $5000 for doing it.

I isnt so hard to do. I did this a while back. I drank a lot of water, flavoured usually with lemon juice and drank tea and coffee using sugarines (substitutes that diabetics use)
You'll still get to eat hearty meals. Meat, salad, fruit and vegetables so you wont starve and your body will feel heaps better after doing it for a month. Surely the Chef could make some sort of bread without sugar in it for you? Anyway if you decide to do it Goodluck! :)

i'm doing that right now until thanksgiving, it's my 5th day since(i stopped after halloween) i've done it before, two months is my most, you'll go through withdrawals for about three days at first but once that is over, your body won't crave it any more, it's kind of as if your body forgot about it, you can do it, for five thousand dollars, anyone could do it, you'll feel great with out sugar too

you'd be surprised that almost everything has sugar in it! take a look through your kitchen and see the ingredients on the label- look for sugar- it'll tell you. no ketchup, no juice, no bread, not a lot of anything to eat then but salad and meat. good luck.

well, pretty much all foods have glucose in them (this includes all fruits vegetables and meats) so, it's pretty impossible. Glucose is a type of sugar (it's also the substance that plants make as their own food)

Uh, i've got long previous years without ingesting it and in no way had a private chef via any potential. it extremely is easy. you may desire to video reveal labels in the commencing up, yet extremely in case you in basic terms consume actual meals and not junk from a field, you would be high quality.
