Can you give me scriptural references where Jesus says He is God?

I can find many verses where He says He is the Son of God.

I do not understand.

There are several: Isaiah 40: 9, John1:1,14, John 20:28, II Cor. 5:19(couldn't be clearer), Col. 1:15(This actually is clearer), Col. 2:9-10, I Tim. 3:16, Titus 2:13, Isa. 63:16, John 10:30, John 14:8-11, and Rev. 21:6-7. It is so plain people miss it. I don't mean to be hurtful. But people need to get out of the box. Remember:"Study to show thyself approved".

There are a lot of places where it says they are "one," but it never says God is Christ or Christ is God. I mean you can say that you and your father (brother, sister, mother, cousin etc.) are one, but you are referring to one family or one in interest. It is a figure of speech. Also, in contrast to the pagan Gods who were worshiped by the Greeks who had many other Gods, God and Christ are one God. They are not separate in the way that people viewed Gods to be back then. God and Christ do not have separate responsibilities, but they are one in purpose. The Trinity is not in the bible, but the Godhead is.

People have been misled by their preachers. Does the Bible say Jesus is God? At John 3:16, it says: "For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life. For God sent forth his Son into the world." Verse 16 said that God GAVE his only-begotten Son. Verse 17 says that God GAVE his Son. So how on earth can the Son be the same one who gave him and sent him into the world?

Jesus NEVER said he was Almighty God. At John 17:3, he clearly said: "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ." If the Father is the only true God, that means that Jesus is NOT the true God.

At John 10:36, Jesus told his enemies: "I am the Son of God.

The apostle John summed up his gospel by saying: "But these have been written down that YOU may believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, and that, because of believing, YOU may have life by means of his name." Jesus is God's Son, NOT God.

Me neither. But they keep telling me he is. Puts a new spin on the Crucifixion and stuff, doesn't it?

See! Thumbs down for everybody who say that Jesus is god's son, and not god! No wonder religion is screwed. People can't even agree with who Jesus and god are!

8 :58 says: Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Before Abraham came into being, I am.

The Lord as the great I Am is the eternal, ever-existing God.
Hence, He was before Abraham and is greater than Abraham (v.·53).
So Christ is God.
