Alright so I was wondering if running, and I guess the sweating factor of it, helps get rid of/prevent pimples/acne. In my own experience I feel like it does, but it might just be coincidence and me only noticing it when it happens.

Is there any evidence to suggest this or am i just making it up?

It may do as im sure it would definately help you whole body being healthy.

But my partner when we were younger used to go running with a cap on and where the cap (head viser) bit met his forehead would get acne and no where else. I told him thats cos the sweat was trapped.

So letting the sweat free itself naturally through your skin and pores should be healthy and better for your skin. Perhaps the same way pregnant mothers have that "natural glow"

I'm not so sure about that. It could work, but with me, after coming home from a day of working and sweating, my acne seems to get worse---probably because the sweat dries and clogs up the pores on my face causing acne.

I think you might be right. I would make sure my skin is not covered with clothing as much as possible. It needs to breath. Also, drink plenty of water to flush out the pores by encouraging more sweat production.

Not sure about it. Pimples are lesions that occur when the skin’s pores are obstructed or infected. The most basic form of pimple prevention is hygiene and preventive skin care.Helpful solutions for pimples at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/

It doesn't help but if you sweat make sure that you wash your face with warm water NOT COLD because washing your face with cold water makes you have more pimples!

umm nope it can actually cause acne, because sweat clogs your pores if you dont rinse your face or shower after you excersise or sweat.
hope this helped :)

I think it's a coincendence for you.

Sweating, if you don't clean your face up, clogs your pores, if I believe.
And that causes pimples.
