Get Dr. Oz's book, YOU ON A DIET.
Diet and exercise is the best way. Change your eating habits to include more low glycemic foods. Exercise at least 1 hour per day for at least 5 days per week. I use spin classes and burn about 600 calories per session.
Eat less, exercise more, drink plenty of water.

working out!
the best thing to do is cardio, it tones the muscles and makes you feel great as well as lose weight.
generally people suggest between 1-3 lbs per week. so going by that you could lose quite a bit. to be on the safe side though, stay toward 1 lb per week unless you're severely overweight.

You need to burn 3500 calories in order to lose one pound.
This would mean that , in order to keep your body healthy have a healthy diet and still lose weight, you should stick to lowering your daily intake with let's say 100 calories and burning the rest of 100 calories with exercise.
200 calories per day would be..6000 calories monthly- almoust 2 pounds...meaning, in 4 months, 8 pounds.

When out with a restaurant, ask the server to keep the bread, snack mix or chips and salsa that might come before the meal. If you are hungry, you'll be tempted.
