They're not stupid, they tend to be followers. It's easier for them to believe what others tell them rather than to think for themselves.
If everyone thought this way, we would still believe the Earth was flat and the Sun revolved around the Earth!

Global warming has been documented to be a serious threat to the world by most of the scientific community, renowned experts in the fields of biology, meteorology and agriculture. Some - actually, MOST - of the most intelligent and learned people on this planet agree that global warming will result in climate changes that man, plants and animals may not be able to survive. global warming is a proven fact, in the next 10 or so years they said the water level will rise a meter and there is no stopping to it. It will wipe out many coast lines and cities. Don't believe it? Search it on a search engine. Though i would like global warming to be a government ploy. :(

Man-made global warming is proven science. That's why the people you think are stupid believe it. Maybe you consider understanding science "stupid."
If so, that says more about your IQ than that of the people you are trying to belittle.

In polls on this subject it's clear that more people in developed EDUCATED countries "believes" in global warming than in countries with less education. The biggest exception from this rule is the U.S. How come people in other countries with high levels of education accept this facts but a higher percentage of people in the U.S. don't? Is it stupid to learn from science? On this subject I've got a view of stupidity that completely differs from yours...

It's the stupid people who don't believe in Global Warming, just look around the United States as a good example, the Southeast part with no water for over 6 months, lots of towns don't have any water at all, look at the Southwest part in California for example, massive fires, and still no rain in sight. If that isn't Global Warming then what is?

I don't think there is a corollation between intelligence and belief in AGW.
Intelligence does not preclude faith. There are a lot of highly intelligent people in the world who have strong faith in a religion or sometimes something not mainstream (alien visitations, global conspiracy).

Who really cares? We should all want a cleaner earth but not at the cost of economic meltdown or loss of sovereignty. Oil, natural gas, and coal will not be here forever and we need to find more sustainable resources. We can help fight drought, fight hunger, lower prices, and other matters, all because we go more to an environmental society. If we do it smart, we will all live better lives.

Mainly due to their desire to demonize industry and capitalism. Others believe it because it is easier to say you believe it than to have to know the science and realize there is no evidence to support it. Others believe it because the public educational system sucks so bad and they ush it down the kids throats. Others believe because it is the religion of the left and they simply have to have faith.

Actually people who actually BELIEVE in global warming are the ones with intelligence!!!!!!! People can have their own beliefs and it is not cause they are stupid. You are the stupid one for believing that everybody has to have one belief and that is all. That's what makes our society. So if you say people who believe in global warming then you are saying that tons of important people are stupid!!!!! And global warming is mainly OUR fault because we burn SOOOOO much fossil fuel and create TOOOOO much pollution!!!!!!!

If everyone could think this way, there's no telling what we could accomplish.
