Do you not have a personal relationship with God? That is how you keep from "drifting" away from Him. Start your day with prayer and reading of the word. When you feel yourself start to stumble, say a prayer. When you see something that lifts you up, tell Him thank you. End your day with prayer and make it a prayer of praise. You don't need to have others around to praise Him. Fellowship is a wonderful thing, but you must also know God personally by spending time with only Him.
Try it. I guarantee it will enhance your experience at church as well!

Hmmm, doesn't sound like time well spent to me.
As for the imaginary rapture, will you count each day that it doesn't arrive? And then, at the end of your life, with no rapture having occurred, do you think you will have wasted your life on a foolish expectation?
Just curious.
You have a life here and now, and people that need your best efforts now. That doesn't change one iota whether or not any deity exists. But hey, if you want to waste your own precious time, that is your choice.

Yes it is good to sing and praise the Lord and worship His holy name. We are also called to go into all the world and preach the gospel that the lost may hear the good news. Rapture: see what is taking place in Israel, the states is backing off with her support of Israel and she will be standing alone as all nations will rise up against her. This is all taking place today all building up to that massive war at Armageddon at the end of the tribulation period. So hang in there we are knocking on the door of the Rapture.

I agree...if we weren't so busy taking care of other aspects of our life. If you read the book of Acts you will notice that Christians went to church daily...and people saw them as "fully devoted to God". If we could, I would. About the Rapture, read Matthew 24, and you will find alot of the signs- some of which are happening NOW

You don't have to be in a building built by man in order to worship and praise him. Its important to fellowship, however you should read his word more often and just go to him in prayer. as him to open your heart so that you may draw nearer to him and not drift apart. Continue attending meetings on Sunday, but read his word everyday and definitely speak to him everyday. He will always listen. He is always nearby. God bless you

Fine with me.
I wouldn't go to church if it was every day, twice a day, three times a day but only twice a week, every day for a month but only on leap year, and so on.
Do what you want, so long as you're not affecting me in any way, I don't care.

you do not necessarily need a church to worship--read the Bbile in between Sundays to help you fellowship with the Lord.

Every day would be great but you also know that there are going to be days that you may have to do something and can't go. My church has prayers on Wednesday's and intercession on Friday's. We also have services in the evening

That people will be just as it was in the days of Noah........complacent..believeing all the have to do is continue there customs and live styles without seeking God's will for there life..( Even tho Noah warned them daily).........humm today we call that church service...........then as it is now is traditions !!!!!And NO preacher is warning the people..........they to have become as before complacent and traditional and customary , instead of humble and seeking Gods face and Gods will.............
And it goes on to say.......".That day will not come till there be a falling away first "..people try and say that churches being empty..i beg to differ.........its the churches filling up with people who believe that church is salvation and socializing is its norm.........they have left God out and they pray and worship and fellowship one with another yet without GOD !!!..Thus the falling away.......
and a famine in the land...." But not for bread , But for THE WORD OF GOD "..........everyones preaching but NO ONE is speaking GODS WORD.......thus the famine in the land..people are hungry for TRUTH..which they are not recieving !!!!!!They are recieving mans message of Go to church and its all gonna be OK...........But NO ONE is PREACHING JESUS CHRIST and HIM CRUCIFIED !!!!!
They are leaving out the Blood and His atonement........
and preaching feel good , positive thinking message...which is a lie !!!!!!!!!
Read More......in the BIBLE THE TRUE WORD of GOD !!
