Do you think it was right for men to change the rules/abolish old rules that were in the bible. Like limitations on women, stoning children, and all the other things that would, by todays standard, be cruel and unconstitutional?

Many break down the codes into three groups, civil, ceremonial, and moral. The civil codes, such as punishment and civic laws, were abolished with the end of the Jewish theocracy. So were the ceremonial religious codes. These didn't and couldn't survive Roman rule. What remains are the moral codes that Christians should practice. Love neighbors, etc.

Limitations on women, stoning children and other cruelties is not emobodied in the bible. The law of God is permanent and can not be changed by any man.You do not know how to understand the words of God in the bible that is why you are misinterpreting it.Do not think that you are better than God, you I.....

Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Right? Yes.

Hypocritical to pick and choose what you like, also yes.

Oh yes, I forgot, the OT is no longer valid unless it supports whatever you currently agree with.
