Theres nothing wrong with casey mears, I have a feeling he will shine next yr, I would keep casey thats already ready set anyway he is going to be in the #5. Smoke should go to RCR.. Hendrick is already a super team, and just think its going to get bigger and better next yr with Jr there winning as well..

Go Dale Jr & HMS in 2008

Up front I will tell you I like Jr as much is any driver out there and more than some!
To answer your question I would have gotten rid of Mears and kept Kyle. But I'm not the boss.
I still say this thing of Jr. going to HMS is mostly about money that his fan base spends on his collectibles and other stuff, that HMS will now get a cut of!
Lets see at the end of next year how much better JR does than Kyle has done this year.
I wish him luck!!

That question is great, but let me put a different twist to it.We all know the #24 and #48 have been locked in the closest battle in Nascar history. How hard do you think it is for those two teams to maintain a good working relationship? I'm sure if it was any other two teammates it would look more like Kenseth and Edwards. Now add Jr. to the mix and this will get wild,I'm sure Mears and Jr. will be great teammates and friends and will enjoy the success Jeff and Jimmie have.Kyle is a real talented racer but he will never be a good teammate and Hendricks sucess is more then good equip.

With the drivers at Roush/Fenway not playing nice with each other I think Carl Edwards would be an upgrade over Casey Mears. He should fit in better over there and already is buddies with Jimmie. THAT would be a deep lineup of drivers.

I bet if Stewart just could not drive a Toyota, Hendrick would find a way to bring him over. I don't think he would replace Mears for anyone else.

Hendrick was a "Super Team" with Kyle Busch there. Now it has dropped a level by replacing him with a lesser driver in Junior.

Never gonna happen, but I'd say Smoke. Casey Mears isn't a bad bet either.

Go Jr.>>>>

Toyota has a racing coming up software it relatively is recuperating their communities on a weekly bases. With the addition of Joe Gibbs Racing this is the decrease back bone that they mandatory for the sport. Will Toyota win the manufacturers championship?do no longer guess on it. Will Toyota win a race(or greater)? effective they are going to. Will there be blown engines.effective will. So base line feels like the Toyota boys positioned an attempt in setting up their autos to get velocity, yet velocity isn't indurance. As for being the team to conquer,no longer probable yet being communities to deal with, sure. pass JOE GIBBS RACING.

Hendrick already had a "super team." Replacing Kyle with Jr. makes the team weaker, not stronger, at least as far as performance on the track is concerned.
