Just be patient~ It'll wear off soon enough.

You can't really do much but the answer is in circulation. You can try to flush your system by drinking extra water, as well as trying to stimulate the area a little bit...try to smile, open and close your mouth, rub your gums, brush your teeth, etc. If you had a lot of work done you probably should appreciate that you are still numb because the alternative, even though you can move your mouth, is being sore.

Mine always seem to last about 6 hours...seems like for ever

try warm/hot salt water and swish around for 15secs that spit
