I have a huge bottle of vanilla extract I got in Mexico and I split it with my mom but I am not sure if it is safe in a plastic bottle or a stainless steal mug that I have it in now.Any ideas of what I can store it in would be great!?Thanks!

Dark glass is probably the best so it keeps out sunlight. But one brand I bought came in a brown plastic bottle and it was fine. I think the important part is to keep the light away.
