Maybe only at first, but he won't be shy forever, once he gets to know you, you might find that shy guy turns out to be a very nice boyfriend! Because he hasn't been "spoiled" by having dated bevies of hot babes before you; there's less worry of him comparing you unfavorably to past girlfriends. Also shy guys are less likely to have the "I'm god's gift to women" additude. However, be prepared to do some of the chasing, at least at the begining, untill he discovers: "OMG there's a girl that actually likes me"!
By the way, most of life is boring, you might as well get used to it.

They sure can be!! Sometimes a shy guy can be really annoying. Having the skill of communication is really important to girls especially. If your stuck with a shy guy at dinner, your basically in the most awkward situation ever because the dont talk!
Make sure the conversation isnt always one sided or the other person will get bored.

Maybe if you're the wild girl party type. Most "shy guys" are really just reserved till you get to know them, after they get to know you and get comfortable, they're just like any average guy. Most guys who come across as shy aren't the wild partier type, but they're usually not the sit in the corner and read a book type you might imagine either. It's a matter of opinion, but I much prefer a guy who is more on the shy side.

They are not really boring to date, it's just that it's more of a challenge to get them to let out their fun side. If you have a good connection level with them, they will be talkative. Shy people are interested in people who can understand them and people who are similar to them.

Not always. I know some shy guys who are shy around most people, but when we get alone or something, he can talk up a storm. I, myself, am a very talkative person, but I wouldn't mind a shy guy.

I think that shy guys are cute. Besides, even if it takes a little coaxing they're some of the funniest, smartest and most interesting people you'll ever meet (usually).

It's said to say that altough they may be quite, they are actually the easiest people to talk to!!! Once the ice starts to break (like with any guy) things will start warming up and it he will feel cofertable with you. And sometimes just with you. (and i personally think those are the best relationships where you know that the person you'r dating really loves and depends on YOU!!! =]

That depends on your personality and interests. If you like wild parties and such, then yes, he probably would be boring to you. I prefer shy people over outgoing people, myself... Though I'm sure some people think of me as boring. :)

shy guys aren't boring to date. just ask my best friend Oprah Pearce. He's shy, but he's gettin some as we speak! (and yes his name is Oprah!)

Yes some are but if you click with the person the conversation will come naturally. The right person will see through the shyness..
