Starving people having babies?

Question

I have thought about this a long time and asked my friends about it and I wanted to get some other ideas from you good people.
There are people starving in certain countries for decades now and they keep having babies that are also starving.
I can't understand why they would bring a child into a situation like that.
Some people say because they don't know any better and don't know how to prevent pregnancy, but I would think they would figure it out eventually.
It is like they are giving their children a death sentence and the poor kids don't even have a chance.
So why do they keep doing it?

It is a very unfortunate situation for the people you speak of and because you or I have never been in their situation we can never know. However, on doing just a little research through our church it seems that they are quite often the victims of rape or they have been sold for food to feed someone else. I think the answer is for someone to teach them the ways to prevent these types of things from happening teach them how to grow food and give them supplies to do it with.
I know that without education we would be no better off than they are but we are a nation that is wealthy and have been educated, still look at the homeless population here and the number of women seeking abortions in our own country and how many children here go to bed hungry each night?
So it is not just over there it is here too.

well if you don't have money, having sex is an easy way to pass the time. Most of these people don't intend to have kids but with no money for birth control then it is pretty much inevitable. If you have nothing in life, then sex can be a good release and help you get away from reality for a bit.

Also, in many of these countries, women cannot deny a man sex and rape is fairly common, so that is another reason they keep having children. And sometimes, having more kids can be a benefit so they can help out around the farm and stuff. Hope this helped

You are too insulated in American culture. Everyone here thinks that everyone in other countries have it like we have it here. You're talking about people who are totally ignorant of things we don't even think about. I had a student from Eritrea and I learned that on average Eritreans spend 2 hours a day searching for water. WATER! So, of course, they are going to sit around their living rooms in their sweaters and hot cocoa and discuss the pros and cons of having babies. Don't you get it? We are the richest, most spoiled, most insensitive culture on earth. For fully a billion or more people life is very little more than survival. They eat, sleep, work, make babies, and die. There isn't a lot of time for much else. Global warming and population issues and rights and freedoms. . .you might as well them: a lula crudel mi laba comma do. It would mean just as much to them.

Educate them. Feed them. Give them freedoms. THEN they'll get it. Until then, you're just as real as a Martian ambassador.

Good question - I have wondered this myself! I know people will say that sex is a natural human 'need' - but sex is not the highest human need/drive - hunger and thirst are much more important. I can't even imagine thinking about sex if I was starving and close to dying! But who knows, maybe the human body adjusts and gets accustomed to this state of starvation and after a while 'forgets' about it. Who knows really - we might never know for sure. Interesting question!

2. Quite often (A LOT) the children are results of RAPE. Rape is *very* common in those countries. And they do not have medical care to get abortions. If you did research on those countries, you would understand this. Rape is a very common occurance in these countries.

some ppl in some countries still keep the old minded , it is prettry backward like they think that giving a birth belongs to nature , it is completely natural , and surely it will survive like the way they are survived till now to produce more n more babies .

Why not? i might in basic terms do it 3 days however, then initiate eating ordinary lower back. you will in all threat lose each and all of the load in basically a week then you definately can flow lower back to a commonly used weight loss plan, skinny lower back. yet once you experience like eating basically consume because you do not elect to lose supplements.

Humanity is like combination of drops of water if shared !
It is not right to criticize those people when we now their big
problem which is poverty and "our selfishness" for neglecting
them and not truely sharing the humanity with them.
