The cost of food, gas, heat, and everything else is already sky high. The cost of healthcare will be able to drop or at the very least level off (may as well be reasonable) because there will be fewer people using the ER as their own private health center, leaving the ER for those LEGALS who may need it for actual EMERGENCIES. The schools will have fewer illegals going there, saving the taxpayer dollars so that the school can actually improve it's ability to teach and have smaller classrooms on top of that. Who knows, maybe the property taxes that we have to pay out can finally drop a little or at least level off as well. The welfare system won't be so taxed that the state can't assist the CITIZENS that may need use of it. There will be more available low income housing for the Americans who need it, and the towns will have the money to be able to afford to keep fully staffed firehouses and police stations, the number of jobs that will be available for those that are here LEGALLY that need them, and so on, and so on, and so on...
Now, if I have to pay a bit extra for a head of lettuce, it's worth it for all the above BENEFITS and more that we will receive when the illegals GO HOME.

The price of food will not skyrocket. The cost of labor for the harvesting of produce is only 5% of the wage paid to the worker. There was a study in California that determined that. The OK law is great and should be followed by other states. Everyday more and more cities, counties and states are passing new laws to get rid of the illegal alien scurge. America is for Americans.

The Price of food...according to ALL economists will go up by 7-9%.

That would be (At 9%) Less than 7 cents per head of lettuce.

I think we can afford that.

Care to try an argument based on real facts?

No shot there. I want to see if you have anything to debate rationally instead of this garbage you put out and can't support.

HA! HA! The price of food is already goin up!
My health care costs have sky rocketed because of illegal immigration! Hospitals pass the cost of illegals health care to insurance companies, who in turn pass the cost on to us!

You are not fooling anyone with that statement!

Getting rid of illegals would save Americans thousands in health care costs!

Paying a little more food is not a problem. I do not have to buy it if it costs to much!

I'll share with legal Americans!

Try to get the Mexican government to share with their own people! Talk about greedy and corrupt!

If there is a price in increase in food, it will be offset by the decrease in charity care and bad debt in hospitals (which converts to the premiums and taxes we pay)...............the reduction in education costs (both numbers of students and extra resources utilized for multi lingual education) and the REDUCTION in crime.

Sorry life isn't quite as simple as fruits and vegetables. It is much more complicated and multifactorial than that.

Food is shipped all over the country. Even if the cost of local produce rose dramatically, it wouldn't put much of a burden on the average family.

Not that the whole 'oranges will cost $10 a peice' argument was ever that valid to begin with.

We are a self sufficient people not counting the illegals which are going to start getting their *** deported. Oklahomans do not "sponge" , unlike your unwanted relatives. As for makin beds i will sleep very comfortable thank you, more comfortable than your illegal relatives on the run in my state sleeping in ditchs and creekbeds. Its not the spelling police you better be worried about

Do you mean if illegal aliens are deported and no longer are here as migrant workers? The price of food will not skyrocket. It will be somewhat more expensive in the short run, but I would rather pay for that than the billions we pay for illegals.

You're so right... how dare anyone expect the immigration laws of this or any other country to be followed! People are so totally unreasonable these days.
