It would make some people feel better. But then there would be another bad gas lurking around the corner!

It is not the CO2 that is the problem GW's want you to believe. CFC's, methane, CO, NOx these are problems. Even surface ozone is deadly. If we go cleanup the atmosphere like CoolingEarth.org wants to do, CO2 is not the primary chemical that needs to be removed. But we must rebuild the ozone layer to prevent cancer rates from taking a big jump.

1 ton = 2000 pounds.... How are supposed to know an answer for that?
