Shouldn't a NASCAR driver be embarrased to win one of those?

I meant NEXTEL Cup Racer.

Why????? $$$$$ is $$$$$$, especially when you get it for doing something you have a passion for. I just don't think it is fair to the other Busch drivers who are trying to get experience to move up to CUP.

Last year no one complained when Kevin Harvick won the Busch Championship but now since Carl Edwards won the Championship people are freaking out about how he shouldn't have won it! I don't understand! Every other NEXTEL CUP Driver had the same opportunity to race in the Busch Series as Carl did!! Only not every other driver did so why is people so much against it!!!

No not really he earned the Championship. The Cup drivers drive the Busch series for the love of racing--BUT ALSO to try to help themselves on Sunday at the same track. I have never heard of a Pro Baseball or Football or Basketball player who either got cut and sent to the Minor Leagues or were sent to the Minor leagues to rehab an Injury be ashamed or embarrassed to win A Championship at the Lower Level--Racers are the same--They love performing in their chosen sport!!!!

embarrassed, no. any driver should be proud to win in any series. but, personally i would be very happy to see nationwide insurance(the new sponsors of the busch series) change the rules in that series to allow any eligible driver to compete in a race for the win and the $ but anyone in the top 35 in points in Cup will not be awarded any busch series points for any finish in a busch series race. that would keep the 'busch whackers' off the track and get that series back to what it should be, a training grounds for the Cup level, not a weekly beat-down by the big boys.

It's not like Carl races the #99 Office Depot car,with a CUP engine in it or anything. This year deserves alot of credit....
Driving a cup car,the today car,and the C.O.T. You have to know your S*** to be able to win with all 3,in the same year !!

I'm not sure embarrased is the right word,but Iam sure I wouldn't be throwing myself a huge party and especially the way Edwards won it.He finshed badly the last half of the year and his team will not win the owners championship.I'm not sure how many times this has occured but iam sure its not something to crow about.

Harvick got it last year, he did not seem very embarassed, these guys LOVE to race and if they get the trophy even better
