1. Utah (I'm proud to be Utarded! as one RM once put it)
2. Hawaii
3. New York (I want to live in upstate NY one day)
The three I do not like are:
1. South Dakota (Nice people, just nothing in the state)
2. Illinois (actually the state is fine, I just got stuck in horrible traffic when I visited Chicago and that took up my whole day in the city, the rest of the trip was fine)
3. MD (haven't spent much time there-I only flew through- but from what you say it can't be that great.

I love Texas and would never have left, but I just couldn't take the heat any more.
I love Virginia, my new home. It is truly the Garden of Eden.
I like Utah, as that is where my inlaws live and the Prophet.
I hate California. Its politics stink, the weather is always the same, and it is so crowded and expensive as to make it impossible to live a decent life.
I don't like Mass. and NY, as their politicians have destroyed much of the freedom our Founding Fathers gave us.
I have to go with Utah as the most religious, as the Prophet and the Council of the Twelve are there.

My number one will always and forever be New York....even though I do not want to live here anymore (because of the insane cost of living), I def. think it has contributed to making me a very open minded, tolerant individual. I guess my number 2 would be Colorado because that is where i am moving, and my number 3 will be Georgia.
least favorite:
1. Massachusetts (for the simple reason that this is where the red sox are)
2. Kentucky ( i think its a fake state)
3. Alabama

I have lived in 24 of the 50 states they all have their great bits and their not so great bits...
I most prefer the southwestern states for the weather and because I have far less allergy trouble in them as opposed to the rest..
My least favorite would have to be Louisiana while I loved the culture the weather was awful and the mosses wreaked havoc with my allergies..
Most religious.... southeastern states are pretty well saturated with religion....

Hawaii, California, Alaska.
No bad state in the 50 actually.
The most religious - it's a tie as far as I can tell. Religious Americans in all 50.

If I had to take a wild guess, I suppose the most religious state in the U.S. would be West Virginia.

I LOVE Washington! I love the Olympic Pennisula, it's absolutly gorgeous! My next favorite is a tie between Alaska and Oregon (OK, I love the Pacific North-West). I love the rain, ocean, mountains, and green forests, if only I didn't live in Utah . . .
My least favorites are Nebraska, parts or Wyoming, and Florida (it's waaaaaaay too humid and too many bugs! :S )
