I just started Effexor 37.5mg and my psychiatrist combined it with Lexapro 10 mg. When did you notice a difference? I am upping my Effexor to 75mg in 3 days.

The positive effects of your pills will 'kick in' in around 2-3 weeks. Anything you're feeling right now is just side effects.

I didn't notice any difference until I was up to 150 mg after about 5 or 6 weeks. I started on 37.5 mg with 10 mg of Lexapro as well. I'm not taking the Lexapro anymore but I'm up to 300 mg of Effexor.

I was on Effexor XR but it made me feel like I was crawling out of my skin. I couldn't deal with it...

I was then switched to Lexapro.

It takes about two weeks to start feeling different/better.

Good luck!

thats good, just follow your doctors instructions. you should notice a change in a few weeks but give it a month or two because introducing a new chemical or a larger dose takes the body time to react to, and we all react differently. your doctor should also be able to tell you this. good luck.

It's different for every person. Just give it some time, and know that you may have to change your dosage a few times before it's right.

Ring your doctor up. If its an anti-depressant it will take anywhere from 1- 6 weeks.

Ask your doctor.
