I have to fix can corn for 60 people for a Thanksgiving party at work. If I buy the large cans, how many cans will I need to? It will just be regular kernal corn, no fancy dish.

a large #10 can (gallon) from Walmart's Bulk Aisle or wherever has 25 servings in it.

Cans of corn usually have a "serving size" and "servings per container" on the label somewhere. For example, on my 15 ounce can of corn it says, "Serving Size 1/2 cup" and, "Servings about 3.5." I would need about 18 cans of corn for 60 servings. Of course, some people will take more and some less. To be on the safe side, I would want to buy at least 20 cans. I'd rather have left overs than not enough. Remember, this is for a 15 ounce can.

one large can should be enough,,there will be so many other things ,,but to make it a little bit special and no hassle try adding about 3 tlb dried onion bits to it and some real butter and a little black pepper ..they will taste like you worked at it :)
