You may need to add another egg to the batter.
Wait until completely cooled to cut.
Plastic knives work great to cut brownies, better than metal. Not sure why, but they do.

Brownies break up easily all the time. Let them cool for a while longer than room temp.

I would say it's one of two things:
1. You are overbeating the batter. If you are beating with an electric mixer, try mixing by hand. If you are mixing by hand, do not overbeat.
2. You are trying to cut them before they have cooled completely. If you cut them while they are still warm, they will crumble.

One of the things that might help-slightly underbake them. You could also wait till they are completely cooled till you cut them.{Maybe that is an unrealistic request]. When they are cooled, you could refrigerate them. Or you could eat them anyway. How about on vanilla ice cream?

Two different things could have happened. 1-you coked them to long, or 2-you have cooked them to long.
