Because people tend to work harder for the devil than for Jesus Christ......

2007-11-05 12:03:03 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 2 9

The bible as we know it today was not around at Jesus' time. Jesus read the Torah (as we know the Old Testament).

It's hard, when you have been taught one thing all your life, to believe that there could be other possible truths. However, the God that I have known in my lifetime would not condemn anyone to hell.

And, if Islam is the fastest growing religion, there must be a reason. Perhaps you ought to investigate and see why. Maybe there is a truth inside that people find to be authentic. People are looking for truth a lot in these days of chaos and uncertainty.

I am unsure exactly what you mean when you say"confirm you hell".
However I will attempt to reply to your question and say that yes, as a reverted Muslim I believe in hell as much as I believe in heaven.
But it is according to how we choose to live our lives where we will spend eternity.
Islam is the fastest growing religions and only 18% of Muslims are Arab speaking.
Islam does not use missionaries nor do Muslims go doorknocking to obtain conversions.
The largst percentage of "new Muslims" are from the so called middle class with a college education. Many are proffesionals have come from a prodestant Christian background.
Personally I became interested in Islam after meeting many Muslims on frequent study trips to Egypt.
I found thier belief in The Message of the Prophet pbuh appeared to give them so much purpose to thier lives and I was impressed also by the strength of the family bonded by Islam and the tenets of the Muslim faith.
My Muslim friends and collegues had an inner resiliance and a sense of belonging that I felt was missing from my own life.On taking instruction in the teaching of Islam I found that there is really is so much truth and beauty in the words of The Noble Qu'ran.
Its message as given to the Prophet Muhammed pbuh is so special and powerful it may be that many who like myself felt letdown and disillusioned by Christainity have turned to Islam initially out of interest and then found it impossible and stupid to deny and hide myself from the truth I had become aware of in the Noble Qu'ran
Islam teaches that we are all born Muslim and this is the reason why the term revert is used instead of convert.
To address the inaccurrate comment made by another answerer, I don't know of one Muslim who feels differently to myself in that I abhor and hate the peretrators of 9/11 and all acts of terrorism are the acts of evil twisted minds under the control of those whose adgendas are politically orientated.
It is an unfortunate fact that these people have Muslim names and belonged to radical fundamentalist groups that have much more to do with politics than religion.

who is to say who is right and who is wrong? Only God will judge us for our actions. I'm pretty sure if God was right next to you in person he would scold you for your foolish question. It is the fastest growing religion because if you research it with unbiased assumptions, you come to find that it answers all your questions!
This is what I have found and it leaves you at peace because you know exactly what you're doing, you know if you're pleasing God and you know if you're unpleasing God. Christianity leaves too many unanswered things. I also think the Bible is highly misinterpreted and ultimately tampered too much by man to be the complete word of God that is was back in the time of Jesus. The Qu'ran on the other hand, has been untouched and still remains in the same form it was given to people in. Maybe that's why? Only my thoughts

You don't know anything about Islam.

Islam tell people that they will take as they were done- either paradise or hell

This is like when you enter an exam - according to your answers, your score will be.

Islam is the religion of life because Islam is the religion that is revealed from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'la . Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'la is the Creator of all things around us and Allah knows well the nature of His creatures.

Islam tells you how you can live, go straight forward, and improve your life positively.

Fairly, as you do as you get in the last Day- to paradise or to hell.

islam doesn't "confirm" you to hell..your deeds will be recorded, judged and you'll be sent to heaven or hell accordingly..it is the fastest growing religion because of it being extremely opposite to its media stereotypes..

Thats because its not a terrorist-stricken, bloody, violent, child-raping, satan-created religion like those crazy Christian fanatics make it to be. Insha'Allah Allah will show them the true path. If they weren't so damn ignorant, they would go to barnes & noble and read a Qur'an with an open heart and mind. I have had an open heart and mind for Christianity but in my heart I know Islam is the true religion. It makes so much sense. The Bible is altered and full of contradictions. If people weren't so ignorant and so accursed, they would at least read a reasonable source about Islam. Too many people visit those anti-islamic sites and they are growing everyday. May Allah give those the reward they deserve and those the punishment they deserve.

There are different way to measure the fastest growing religion. However if you are looking at the same stats I was it's because of immigration into the West from Muslims as well as a higher birth rate worldwide.

1. Muslim countries (i.e. India) are growing fast, so they have many new opportunities for conversion every day.
2. It's a newer faith. Christianity was on a roll back in the day, and Mormonism (newer than Islam) is also a very fast-growing religion. Never underestimate the power of something new and shiny.

Well, I am a Muslim-born child. The thing is, in Islam, we believe that life is a test. The actions you do on Earth will affect you in the Afterlife. So, basically, that is why we loved our God (Allah) and we ask him for forgiveness for a sin, and do many tasks, to help guide ourselves to the straight path. (As in like the good path.) We are very peaceful people. We do not harm anyone, or anything. Hope that helps. :)
