Offer a reward for the recovery of, or any information that leads to the recovery of, your folder and the contents that were in it when it went "missing". Post the reward poster near the area it went missing (cause chances are, the person who took it is there everyday - and you want that person to see it). Hopefully, whoever took it will return it to you (claiming they found it somewhere) so that they can get the reward.

Let others know how important the folder is to you. Maybe someone picked it up on accident. Tell your school staff. Check the lost and found. Don't worry. It isn't your life in that folder. You've got a lot more going than just that folder. Start over. You'll probably improve the work you've already done.
Good Luck.

Nothing you can do. Next time, leave your folder at home, or keep it in your locker until you go home. Always have a copy.

Notify the band teacher, and, or the Principal, it may have been turned in.

Post a sign where it was lost. Say that you will give a $20 reward to anyone who returns it to you.

Not rub salt in your wound, but damn man. Why would you leave such an important thing just sitting there? You made a major mistake. Do not blame anyone else....well, you can blame the thief.
