I have tanned, naturally dark skin. Im chinese and have naturally black hair, but its just dark dark brown now. I was thinking to dye it blonde... just for a change and im wondering if it'll look good. do you think its a good idea?

probably not. since your hair is black, it might come out orange. besides you want to look natural. and if you color your hair blonde, it might not look as good as you're picturing it in your head. to get your hair really blonde, you'd have to bleach it so much, that it'll fry your hair. maybe do some low lights. like caramel and some red, i think that would be really cute!

Well, some will say it looks horrible, while others say it'll look fantastic. There is only one person, who's opinion really matters and that is your own. Do what you feel comfortable doing.
Maybe get a a few streaks done near your face, to see whether it compliments your skin tone.
Or get some hair extensions and put them near your face and see what you think.

No. I think it'll look really weird.
You could try a medium brown with some caramel highlights.
Or, black hair with maybe some red highlights.
But not blond, no.

No - blond will clash w/ your skin tone.
It's really hard to strip dark hair & bleach it blond. You'll end up w/ orange hair or seriously damaged hair. Plus your roots will be obvious immediately.
I'm Asian too BTW.

Well, some asians look really great with blonde hair, but they're usually light-skinned. I don't really think it's a good idea if you have dark skin, but some blonde highlights might look good.

I had my hair EVERY color. I didn't realize until later in life that you usually look the best in your natural color. If you want to try it and be different, do it. If I hadn't tried all the colors, I wouldn't have known. There are such great colors in make up and hair color now. If I were younger, I would go crazy. . .and I still might. . .

I think that when asians go blonde it looks too fake... your natural hair colour always looks the best!

honestly, it somewhat looks tacky and very unnatural, try something much darker than blonde but lighter than black
rarley does dark skin and blonde hair look good

I have no idea but try in as a temporary one first and see how it looks. sounds so cool, though it would have a dramatic affect on the public I bet.

streaks r good. Going blonde is hard upkeep, paticularly with roots. Plus it damages your hair and goes into your scalp.
