God did give us the ability to see outer beauty. If we allow our minds to be "entranced" by this & act upon it, (in our hearts) we are completely responsible for that. Imagine if you are a blind person, (I have actually met one) they see our true selves our "inner beauty".
For me personally, something "beautiful" may catch my eye.. but something with depth keeps my interest & can capture my heart. Outer beauty may impact some very deeply, that does not give permission to act upon the desires that seeing something beautiful might invoke, (LUST).
I do believe that when one person is compared to another they both are not appreciated for their individuality. Have you ever seen what you describe as a "Brad Pitt" or "Julia Roberts" type looking person.. then they open their mouth and displayed their inner selfishness & arrogance? The type of beauty you are describing is TRULY only skin deep. Once that skin ages, wrinkles, & changes the inner person is still as beautiful!
FACTS IN YOUR QUESTION:
God did make our mind.
God did make each of us.
FACTS:
God did with His blessing make us each uniquely & beautifully.
What we value is OUR CHOICE not God's design of any body part.
What we value usually says alot about who we TRULY are!

John you are so far off.
Nothing about a human being that is more beautiful than the heart, the soul.
While it may take longer seeing someones's beauty in their heart/soul than looking at a gorgeous face, there is so much more to find from within.
Why did God do this. Guess because he loves us so much.
I don't agree with you on any of this. There is no such thing as an unattractive face. I simply do not see it.
Look at the whole person, not just a face, true beauty lies within.

"Our eyes are the most powerful sense."
Our eyes are sense organs; sight is the sense. Furthermore, what do you mean by "most powerful". You can't just throw out statements like that as if they are fact.
"Why did God do this to us?"
It doesn't. It can't. It's not there. The reason why we are romantically-attracted to physical attributes can only be explained by natural selection. A person's body is the best source of information we have available to the senses about their genetic makeup. It may seem like voodoo, but our ability to spot reproductive fitness is every bit a product of evolution as our eyes.
"Please don't say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder because I'm talking about mathematical proportion that everyone finds beautiful."
The Golden Ratio is certainly mathematically interesting, and it seems to crop up in the strangest places, but the research about it's aesthetically-pleasing nature is dubious at best. The idea of our brains comparing a person's facial features to some ideal model based on a single numerical proportion is very simplistic is very probably specious.

1. Man sees the outer part (which takes almost no time) in person to establish. Inner beauty takes longer; one has to 'talk and/or listen' to others to 'display' it. Perhaps also some are 'turned off' by that inner person also at a given time.

God made the world challenging. People who develop spiritually, get more into wanting to relate to people of good character, because they learn as they grow that, that is what is more spiritually important, and works best over the long run, to be a productive couple in this trying world we live in. I tend to want people to be healthy and of strong character in my life, and tend to be careful not to be manipulated by someone who looks a certain way. God does provide distracting temptations, that we must learn to resist, until we are sure they are healthy for us. People do need to take good care of themselves, by exercising and eating healthy food in moderation.

God created us to be free thinkers and make our own decisions. If someone is a good person, they wont care what other people look like. People gravitate towards other people of equal or higher attractiveness...so even so called "ugly" people will be beautiful to other "ugly" people. but really, who cares. Just be a good person and dont judge people by how they look

I dont believe God is responsible for the tendency to value beauty. A child does not see his mother as "ugly"...he sees her as a source of great comfort, food and so forth. I believe this discrimintory mechanism evolved in man and is perpetuated in our cultures.

did it occur to you that those with inner beauty might have it BECAUSE of the attitude of society to their 'external ugliness'?
and i think man - parents, society, peers etc - make us focus on surfaces, not god - we have free will to choose when we realise that we were wrong to invest in those that are 'shallow and pretty' when they turn out to be ugly in ways that are more important to us...more important full stop.
it's a hard choice for some of though...maybe THAT struggle will win us inner beauty?

In every culture, this is what is considered attractive: healthy bodies and clear skin.
Men consider women most attractive when they are in their years of peak fertility (around 22 years of age). Women are more concerned with a man's social standing and his ability to provide for their offspring, and his perceived faithfulness.
This is exactly what the theory of evolution would lead us to expect.

I don't believe in God and don't give a rat's *** what people look like as long as they can hold an intelligent conversation with me and aren't a complete prick.
