As Paula said - God does indeed hate the sin, but loves the sinner. There is a church in Topeka, KS that protests in lots of places that "God hates fags" (their words, not mine). The Catholic churches in Topeka (as well as some other denominations) spoke out against him - saying God loves everyone, just hates the sinner. Since then, he has added Catholic churches as places to protest. Which is ironic, since the Catholic church is one of the few churches that still preaches against active homosexuality.
As for the other denominations - no. My faith says that all religions have at least some essence of truth. We, of course, believe that our (Catholic) faith is the complete deposit of faith. The further from the Catholic church you go, the less truth is in that religion. That does not mean that a Buddhist is in a horrible religion. An incorrect one, sure. But some of their beliefs (doing good toward others, etc) are the same or similar to ours.
Regardless of what you believe, it IS possible for one to enter heaven. All things are possible through God. While we may believe our religion is the correct path, there is nothing to keep God from deciding someone following a different path can enter - we just don't KNOW that is happening.
I am the only Catholic in my family (Convert). So I obviously hope that non-Catholics will enter into heaven.
This is a pretty deep subject. I hope your search goes well. God bless.

God loves everyone. He "wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth." 1Tim 2:4 ""For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
But through he loves everyone, he doesn't like everyone. That is, while he is concerned to meet the real needs of even his enemies, to be a friend with God requires coming to him on his terms.
Joh 15:14 "You are my friends if you do what I command."

God loves homosexuality. He created it, right?
Christians can't seem to understand that the god they believe in created everything. Why then do they pick and choose human characteristics and, from a bloody frickin bull-horn condemn certain behaviors? This makes no sense. If there is a god, wouldn't he/she/it love all of it's creation? Either that, or he/she/it hates us all. Gotta be one or the other.

God so loved THE WORLD, that He gave His only son, so that whosoever would believe on Him would have eternal life.
Homosexuals , buddhists, jews, and muslims are all apart of the world.
ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
God loves all your friends, they just have to make the decision to come before Christ and repent-and God will save them, through Christ. Remember God loved us while we were let sinners.

This is a big part of why I'm not a Christian. Because as a child my best friend was a Muslim and the idea that if I went to heaven she wouldn't be there, she would be in hell...well it just horrified me. Today most of my closest friends are from a variety of beliefs and lots of them are gay. I will not subscribe to any belief system that would have you say anything against someone because of their personal life. And before you say Christian's don't hate, I know that, there are lots who don't but it remains true that unbelievers and homosexuals, according to the Bible, the Old Testament, the Torah, one of the earliest books, should be stoned to death. Any culture springing from something that advocates such is not for me.

God doesn't hate anyone. People who hate justify their hate by dragging God into it.
God loves, man kills.
Hating other humans is the essence of sin. We're all in God's image, think about that. Hating a person, ANY person, for any reason is hating God in a very real sense.

It is better said that God hates what they do; for Jesus died for them as well so that they may accept him and have everlasting life.
Same for Jews, Muslims, and Buddhists. God probably doesnt appreciate the fact that they marginalize and ignore Jesus, but the same everlasting life can be theres if they would only believe.

GOD HATES NO ONE ! ALL PURE LOVE IS NOT CAPABLE OF HATE < Neither can He hate anything. The Prime Creator that created everything that existed, does exist and will forever continue to exist.
How can He forbid you to "thou shalt not hate" but, it's alright for Him to hate. It's like Do as I say, not as I do. Help! Get me something to wrap it around my mind with.
How can God create a homosexuals at birth and then hate them for it?? Nata!! I believe that in past lives they are the ones that crucfied them, laughed at them, condemned them and treated them as less that human. Law of the Universe, sorry. Thou shalt not judge. If we only knew how we are bringing the same judgement upon our selves, we would not be critical of ANY one. What you do unto others, you do it unto me. Judgement is not a slap on the hand. You will cycle until you feel every pain, every bit of shame, sorrow and how it feels to be an outcast. Why do think God will wipe away all tears from our eyes? He will be wiping away the tears from the pain you will feel as you experience it first hand.
This is Justice and Mercy according to Gods Plan. In the eastern religions they call it Karma. You reap what you sow.
Try not to worry about your friends, no man comes to the Father unless the Spirit draws them. Just pray, love, and just let them live their own lives. You are just spinning your wheels.
Thank God, for your caring so much, precious heart of God.

God loves all his creation...he hates the lifestyle of the homosexual...all they need to do is walk away from that way of life. Homosexuality is a sin,,,God called it an abomination....
As for other religions,,,,God loves them but they are rebelling against God by going their own way and not seeking the one and only God...The Jewish people have denied their own Messiah...although the whole bible points to Jesus....The Muslims are following after a false prophet instead of God....Buddhist worship nature not God. They worship what he made and not God himself.
God says, there is only one way to come to him...you must come by way of the cross..You must accept his Son's sacrifice for you sins..
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." -- John 14:6 (NKJV)
