My kitten is obsessed with straws. I give her a few and she plays with them then jumps up on top of the fridge where I keep the bag of straws and gets a few more out. She just drops them to the floor. There are 9 straws in the floor right now! It's really cute but weird that she's not happy with just a couple or that she doesn't just knock the whole bag down! Aren't cats adorable!

She also won't have a filter in the litter box. For some reason she takes it out everytime I put it in!

My cat attacks straws, too. He's also got an obsession with plastic bags. It's nearly impossible to hide them where he can't get to them because he goes so nuts when he hears their crinkly noise. My other cat steals those little stuffed animals like you get in Happy Meals and carries them around in his mouth like they're his kittens. It's so adorable.

One of my cats, Papi, is obsessed with two things.
The first is water. He will come running from anywhere in the house at the sound of a faucet. He will even race ahead of you if he sees you heading to the bathroom because he knows the sink will be turned on eventually. He LOVES it!! His second obsession is licking plastic bags. I don't know why but he will go anywhere plastic bags are just to lick them. I don't know if it’s the texture or the sound it makes but either way he loves it.
You are right, cats are just so adorable! I love your story about the straws. That is just so cute! My cats like to hang out on top of the fridge too. It's the highest place in our house so they love it. My favorite thing is when my other cat, Brody is on top of the fridge and will peak down over the front when you open the fridge. So cuuuuuuute!

Young cats are very playful. They pounce on anything that moves. It's nature's way to train them for hunting. Straws are very light and bounce well. The more the better. Try with a ball of paper tied to a string attached to a door handle. Your cat will go crazy. You can add to the fun by dragging the paper ball around the house but not down the stairs!

I have a money cat. Well it is probably just a shiny object thing... but she is a thief! she steals shiny objects right in front of us! especially coins, and then puts them in the bath tub so that she can fling the up the gradually curved wall of the tub and have it come flying back at her. I do have to film this some time because it is just the funniest d@** thing! but yeah she is obsessed with that and putting things in her water dish.

My cat, Dusk, is completely obsessed with socks. I have lost so many socks because he carries them off. I find them lying all over the house. He steals them out of the laundry. He brings them to us and wants us to ball them up and throw them for him. He loves to play fetch just like a dog! It is so cute (until I need a pair of socks!). When he can't find socks he brings whatever else he can find lying around. He has even brought diapers and sleepers to us!

Mine is obsessed with POLLY POCKET clothes. Those little rubber clothes that fit on Polly Pocket. He LOVES them!!!! He plays fetch with them and when we are gone, he goes in the kid's room and brings tons of them downstairs!!!!!!!!!
He also likes the "jelly" pencil grips. Something about the squishy things.

Yes...my biggest Cat: Dirk Diggler, just LOVES to chew the of the Head of HUGE Rats and place them NEATLY next to the Rats Body...Like a TROPHY !
Oh, and the Heart is ALLWAYS missing !
