I'm making rice and chicken tonight (Adobo seasoning with the chicken, its philipino style sauce/asian style) I don't know what else to have with it, the rice is plain white rice.

I'm thinking some vegitables but I don't think any of the veggies I have would go with it, any suggestions as to what to have with it?

would a side salad work?

Brown Derby Special French Dressing

1/4 C. Water
1/4 C. red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 clove garlic, minced
1/4 C. olive oil
3/4 C. vegetable oil

Combine all ingredients. Chill. Shake well before serving.

Broccoli plain with butter and a sprinkle of cheese
Broccoli and cauliflower with mushrooms or,
just a plate of sliced red tomatoes with a sprinkle of salt or ranch dressing or,
steamed spinach or,
a good green salad or
zuccinni slices, sauted with onion and tomatoes at the end

I hope these give you some ideas....?

Yes, a side salad usually works. I like to get that microwaveable stuffing mix--you can cook it on the stove, or in the microwave, it's tasty, and it goes well with chicken.
