My Wife and I don't get along with my mom and now that we have a child she wants to see him. We have no interest in that happening. She says she will take us to family court so she can see the boy. Does she have a case?

Grandparents that sue for visitation do not primarily win their cases unless the parents are deemed unfit, or it is a grandparent of a dead parent and the living parent does not honor their wishes

As for her sueing you, doubtful she will as it is very expensive and time consuming. Offer her once a month supervised visitation and she won't ever have a leg to stand on since you are letting her see the child.

Good Luck

Probably not unless there's a question of your fitness as parents. But children benefit enormously from knowing their grandparents (unless there's a question of your mother's fitness).
