I'm over 40 and I have worked with kids just out of high school. When it comes to computers, they usually know way more than I do, so I concede in that area.

I'm not good in programming or coding. I know enough HTML to make a decent page, but thats all. But when I ask them computer history, like floppy disks, they go huh? They never heard of a floppy disk? They dont know what a record or a data tape is. They never heard of ATARI or a ZX or a Commodore.

I can still remember what it was like when the first PCs came out in 1982. Kids today know NOTHING, and still think I am stupid.

I grew up with 5 inch floppy disks, and 3.5 inch floppy disks, but nowadays, all they know is CD.

well, in my experience, most 20 somethings only have book knowledge and don't have much RL experience.

prove otherwise and I'll talk to you differently.
