You need to go to your PD and talk with a detective and file a report. Then ask them to guide you on how to go about getting information on who is doing this.

Also write all three credit agencies and notify them in writing of what is going on and ask them for their advice on how to put a stop to this identity theft. Ask them if they can notify you or have companies notify you anytime your social security number is used for anything and let them know that you must give your approval before the companies approve credit for anyone so you are aware of what is going on and only have things show up on your record that you have purchased personally.

Contact companies who have given credit under your SS # and ask them how to get copies. Let them know someone has stolen your SS # and is using it illegally. Keep in touch with the detective and make sure you fax copies to them for their records when you get copies of any paperwork, especially anything with signatures.

Sure hope you can get this resolved and restore your credit ~ I sure feel for you and hope and pray I never have to deal with this myself. Good luck.
