That would depend on the age gap relative to our ages. By that I mean that 4 years is a huge gap when you're 18 - but it's a small gap when you're 40.
I had a friend who referred to "gentleman's club rules" (whatever that means) which was 1/2 guy's age + 7. Meaning that a 20 year old could date a 17+ year old girl and a 40 year old could date a 27+ year old. Personally that's not my preference but to each their own.
If a girl who was significantly younger than I am expressed interest in me I might also be interested in her (providing we matched in other areas). However, if she didn't then I would be content to leave it at friends.
The media keeps the image of the young "hot" girl so much in our faces that most guys want that no matter their own age. Still, I don't think a real gentleman should push for that - unless she pushes first.
But that's just my personal code.

Absolutely not! I was finishing med school and one day I was asked to give some nursing students a tour of the ORs. There were about 15 of them...she walked in with them and I was a goner. At the end of the day I gave her my phone number and said that if she would consider letting me buy her dinner to call me. When I got home there were six messages on my machine...all of them saying "YES!". I was 26....she was 19. We have been together ever since...and so far as I can see there have been no problems caused by 'age difference'.

Unless you're like, 60 years older than her (that's just kind of wrong..) I don't see a problem, as long as she's legal.

actually i perfer older girls thats why my girl is 2 years older than me. then again i always get along with much older and much mature people cause of life experiences

no,i went out with a person two years older than me but he was just a grade higher.it just depends how much you have feelings for that person then you become ignorant(in a good way) of physical qualities..

If you're older than 18 and she's under --- I'd reconsider my friend. Could be problematic.
