Wow, I was so amazed at the flamboyant quips going into taking your question seriously that I thought I would throw my two cents in.

First of all, I am quite convinced that there are way too many atheists out with nothing better to do than get their jollies by seeing how many retarded answers they can get from ignorant people of faith. It seems like you all are having fun as you smite people with your mighty hand of arrogant sarcasm, but you really seem ticked off as well, like you just wish abortion was legal for people of faith specifically, no matter what age.... I say Jesus is my homeboy and you spit in my eye, punch me in the gut, and rail me with your superior intellect.... Awww peace at last; everybody goes away happy. I'm so glad to have the freedom of the love of Christ to love you anyway and you are so glad to have the freedom to hate me for it.

The Bible says that there is a great casm in between our existence and God's that is unimaginable. I personally think that this is a different dimension. Despite your sarcasm, alternate dimensions are not just in my head and not considering them possible (as well as not considering consciousness outside of the realm of human existence) is just simple close mindedness, even from the perspective of science.
Anyway, heaven is God's physical dwelling place transcendent of our place here. Hell is simply separation from God. The context of burning and brimstone and all of that is always used metaphorically. So yeah, we do experience hell everyday in some way from not living up to the perfect level of order (God) that sustains our universe. The bible just says that we experience hell much worse after we die and don't have God's provisions of comfort i.e. earth and resources for living.
Heaven is similar in that we can experience it everyday because of Jesus' intercession between us and God. We can experience miracles like they did in the old testament in order to really understand heaven from earth through the Holy Spirit that Jesus left for us before His ascension. You all could mock me except that many many atheist just like yourselves have become God loving for this very reason. Seems idiotic doesn't it? It's not when you experience it for yourselves. I could easily present you with literally thousands of testimonies of people just from my town that have documented the miracles God has performed in their lives through the Holy Spirit. Myself and everyone of these people that I know say earnestly that God has completely transformed their lives and are forever grateful and forever in His debt. For this reason, you will never never win in trying to convince people that God doesn't exist. Also, I wanted to point out to you that in the realm of existence every person experiences everyday, that we fluctuate in between different degrees of positive and negative. In order for us to fluctuate in the middle means that there has to be two poles. To say that there is no ultimate pole of positive (God) or negative (hell/separation) is to say that there is no plane of existence for you and I to fluctuate on and is to therefore deny your own existence. The higher level of order extant in sustaining our universe and life on this planet is God and it is to this level of order that we must strive in order to promote life. In other words, trying to avoid the idea of God is a waste of time and a large distraction the ever present pursue of preservation.

Lastly, I don't mind chatting with people of any faith, whether atheist or any other, but I hope that my voice will be heard here in saying that people (Christians especially) need to show some respect and get your jollies from meeting people that are different from you instead of pointing out how stupid you think everyone besides people of your belief system are. Blessings!!

Heaven is a place of love and a job done well. If you have been a good person, Heaven is where you go. It is for hard working people who have not commited a crime. You do not have to be perfect, just to be sweet and not selfish, which adds up to a good soul. It is up far past the clouds, with a golden gate to welcome you. You can only visit when you pass away. Killing yoursellf will only bring yourself to hell. Speaking of hell, it is a place where the devil is your ruler. It is a nightmare of aginizing pain since you have not been good. It is down beneath your feet if you believe. But, if you have ever heard of god always forgives you, and believe it there is no such place as hell in your head. To get there if you believe just die

People never would imagine something as real as heaven and hell if weren't told either by the most powerful influence one has for the whole life family cell or by the powerful influence of books. That's where such two realities come from. They don't come from dreams. No father or mother had dreamed about such realities and then transmitted them to the descendants. Nobody has ever in history come up claiming to have to prophetise about these realities either.
Bible is God's revelation to men and because the purpose of this Holy Book is to help men to save their souls from ultimate death then the enemy of life Satan has tried all his fallen existence to make men doubt about this Book and about God. Which really is an invalid effort because either or not attracted to Satan's ideology, strategy, God will not deal another way with human acts. If human acts are acts of rebellion against God He will reward them with ultimate death. And if men's acts will be according to God's will the reward will be eternal life.

Heaven then is a reward for the faithful.
Hell is the reward for the wicked.

Heaven is nothing more nothing less than reformed Planet Earth with special fire which will descend from God after the Second Ressurrection about which Bible so well explains. This special fire is what Bible names for hell.

Now humans like to fantasize and create their own heaven their own hell.

Such men's creation don't affect the true realities unveiled by Bible.

Heaven is a physical place, one which we can not see. Hell is the grave, however, in pagan and catholic belief, hell is a burning place. The Bible teaches that this world is going to be burned by God to destroy sin, sinners, the evidence of sin, and the evil angels.

Heaven is where all wrongs are made right and Hell is where all rights are made wrong. The Bible gives us hope that Heaven will win.

Read Dante's "Comedy" ... it's an amazing book that explains it all by telling what Dante Aligiheri believed while thrown in exile. It discusses all about heaven, purgatory and hell while comparing it to Christian and Pagan beliefs.

Just read it. It's worth it.

Physically? Heaven is very high up in the sky. Hell is down in the bowels of the earth.

Hell is being mutilated, tortured and repeatedly raped whilst being locked in the basement of a psychos basement for like 20 Years.

Heaven, is being that psycho!

Don't be offended by the level of outrage here. Its just one possible vantage point for interpretation and, possible future discussion.
