i just started this whole yahoo thin yesterday, and i am completely confused about it, all i know how to do is basically ask questions
it sucks because im losing 5 points asking this..but whats the fastest way to earn a lot of points?

You get 2 points every time you answer a question
You get 10 points every time your answer is picked as a Best Answer so make your answers count.
You get 1 point for every day you log on.

1. Pick a topic you know something about and that interests you.
2. Click on the topic to bring up the most recent questions.
3. Just above the first question, click on Number, which will re-sort the list with the question with the most answers at the top.
4. Click on the little box with the arrow just to the right of the number box. This will sort the list so the questions with the least answers at the top.
5. Pick questions that you can answer that have 0 answers and have been on the list for a while. That way your answer is likely to be the only one so you have a best answer automatically and the question will close sooner. Even if it is not the only answer, if it is a good one, the questioner may select it as best from a small group.
6. When done answering, instead of going back to the list of questions and repeating 1-4, use your browser's drop down list of previous pages (the little triangle pointing down to the right of the Back and Forward arrows in IE) and skip back to the question list and mine it for some more favorable questions.

If you click on your "Level number" under your name (not on your profile page but at any other page) you'll see a huge chart on how you gain and lose points, plus the maximums of stuff you're allowed to do in a day at each level.
Just keep answering questions, and look for questions that are "in voting" and you can get points by voting for best answers, too. Of course there are maximums, but you can get there slowly but surely!

You have to answer questions on here.Each one earn you two points,If you answer with good answers and the person that posted the question picks your answer,you get ten points for best answer.You can only ask and answer so many questions a day.The more points you earn,you go up levels and earn mor priveledges.
