Deja vu! ;-)
It's not me, it's you! That translate into, you go away now, me no like you.
Also, that guy was a jerk. You're better off without him. No real man would be that lame.

Oh, anytime I catch a guy with inconsistencies in a story it kills off respect points, but the most famous lies are:
I wasn't at Olive Garden this week (my friend saw him there with a date)
or
My ex and I are just friends!
Edit: Kitten, I was in the same situation with the Olive Garden diner ( I just didn't know about the other woman). Those two will end up divorced in two years and he'll come crawling back to you. Tell him to take a hike!

When I was eighteen, I met this really hot guy at a party. He was six foot three, with a nice smile, light brown hair, dimples, hazel eyes, perfect teeth, and a SEXY body. I should have known that night he was bad news; he had cut his hand breaking into a car.
But hey, I was eighteen, what did I know? I dated him for four horrible, miserable months.
So to answer your question, the lies I believed? I believed him when he told me he loved me. I knew it wasn't true, from the beginning, but I still stayed with him. Even after he screwed me (and not in a good way) many times. I can't even tell you how many times he was cruel to me and made me cry.
I should have dated his brother instead.

There was this guy who would never spend the whole night with me and we would never go to his place. He always had some excuse, had to be up early in the morning for work, his apartment was being exterminated, etc. My best friend went by his place one night and met his fiance. Then I found out he was on parole and he HAD to be home every night.

Hahaha! Jesus.... there are so many, I'm gonna have a hard time selecting a best! Or is that a worst?
Either way, I've been pretty gullible and paid the price for it. You gotta just consider them hard lessons learned and apply that knowledge to the next one, right?

I believed that the first guy I ever fell for would leave his other girlfriend for me, he loved me, thought I was the prettiest girl in the world, the best sex he'd ever had was with me, the other girl bored him...
They're engaged...

yes how does this relate to religion and spirituality? Cause I believe you have made a statement only. The thing I find odd is that it took u a month to get this guy to tell you that lie? Is love so blind that you could not see he knew where he was walking? Im confused....but I get 2 pts.
God Bless B

I believed my ex when he told me he had lost his virginity at a party to some random girl. After I dumped him, he told me that he was still a virgin. Dumb huh?
