*CAN* a dog live with bloody urine? For the most part, yes. Some clotting disorders and decon (rat) poisoning will often cause blood in the urine and are always fatal if not treated promptly though. *SHOULD* they live with bloody urine? Absolutely not. If your dog has bloody urine, take them to the vet. There are several things that could be causing blood in the urine and they are all PAINFUL! Not going to a vet is generally considered failing to seek medical attention when necessary and is usually considered at least neglect if not abuse.

Like others have said it all depends where the blood is from is it a female if so is she fixed if not this could be her heat cycle if NO to the above then no she can not you must take it to a vet ASAP it could be a infection and will only get worse if left untreated

It depends what is causing bloody urine.
It could be a number of things causing it.
The best thing to do is to get the dog to the vet as soon as possible to be checked out.

Unless he drink red wine. No! bring a stool and urine sample to the vet. It may even be contagious.

more than likely if the vet says he will heal as long as no cmplications. he will more than likely survive. I wish you luck and just be patient and do as the vet says.
