Could it be they have so many thieves in the baggage area.

I'm sure it just happens with people who only fly once and suddenly have bad experiences. Northwest is actually a pretty good airline.
I've been on other airlines before such as Delta and United and they had delays and all that stuff... They have had their share of lost luggages.. Actualy, Delta has the worst record on luggage handling in the WORLD. So I wouldn't know what these guys are talking about.
I fly all the time,,, At least 5 times a month,,, People who hate on Northwest don't really hate northwest... They're just always unhappy and never satisfied. That's how they are,,, I jes tell it like it is... Nothing is ever good enough for them,,, even their own kids...

Well my family doesn't like Northwest because of the service and the food. The airline food is the worst, and the people aren't very nice.

There's a reason it's called "NorthWorst". There are always delays, only 45 total minutes to run to get from one end of the airport to the other for the connecting flight, no food except pretzels for a 5 hour flight unless you want to spend $6 for a crappy lunchbox, they lose your luggage, and sometimes the pilot suddenly veers off the runway as you're taking off! (True stories)
At least when we go cheap on Southwest, we expect no food and don't mind scrounging for seats. At least we trust them.

Well they left me and my disabled child at the counter to spend the night in the airport till the next available flight. They act as if you have no choices. Last time I flew we had a 4 hour delay for the first leg of a 2 legged flight.

I have seen them throw the luggage on the conveyor belt and it bounced off, then throw it again and they did this 3 times before it actually went on the plane. I wonder if anything was breakable.!

They steal anything that isnt attached to your body, they are rude and ruin even the best luggage. They really dont care. I have to wonder if it is so easy to take my stuff then it would be easy to put something in.

Northwest would be my last choice of airlines. Especially going to France for a transfer. NEVER GO TO FRANCE AIRPORT (CHARLES DE GAULE) , THERE ARE ALWAYS DELAYS & IT STINKS THERE, AND THERE INGORANT.
