Or maybe they do it while I'm working, I don't know. But I've lived in several cities and in two different states, no JWs.

I hear people talk about getting door-knocked by the JWs all the time --- but this has never happened to me. What about you? Have you had a lot of JWs knock on your door?

P.S. The places I've lived have been: Memphis, TN, Nashville, TN, Santa Cruz, CA, and Monterey, CA. Memphis and Nashville are fairly large cities!

I never have them either. Only once in my whole life Jehovah's Witnesses came when I was at home and it was a bad timing. I was not walking with Christ then so I guess it was good the timing was not right.

We have quite strong "Christian street" ; ), and they have been prpably marking us as " Do not bother" I actually would love to talk with them. But God will provide me the oportunity when it is His timing.

Count your blessings.

They used to show up at my parents' house all the time. When my husband and I first got married, I told the JW's I was disfellowshipped...they never came near the house again. Told the Mormons I was excommunicated...same effect. Where I live now, I haven't had any JW's, but a dyslexic moment with the Mormons (I said disfellowshipped when I meant to say excommunicated) has caused me to become one particular missionary's personal project/challenge...

I used to have a lot of JWs knocking at my door on Saturdays. I also used to get a lot of Mormons. I have to admit, sometimes I would not answer the door and hide out. I guess they just got tired of no one answering their knock.

All the time, but I live in Mississippi where JWs, Southern Baptists and Mormons swarm like gnats.

Helmeted Mormon Season is about to end as the weather cools.

I have so often, that when a man in a suit comes to the door, I figure it will be one. One time it was a man in a suit whose van was on fire in the street and needed a fire extinguisher. But i guess this is why I always answer...just in case.
I good friend I use to work with had some JW's knock on her door and she answered it in a towel, it was or boss and his wife who we worked with! Both JW's, she told me the look on their faces was priceless. They apologized and left!

lol They came to my house once in 12 years. I have a pentagram beautifully carved into my stairs outside the front door. People will break their necks trying to get around it. The JWs never came back.

i don't think i've ever had JWs come by. only LDS and Baptists a couple times. they definitely aren't knocking down my door, and they are polite and cordial when i tell them no thank you, i'm already saved. they have never felt imposing to me at all!
