You know there is hundreds of people that think like that, but the question you should ask yourself is, 'Am I serving God the way he wants me to?' I mean think about it, the Jehovah's Witnesses do those things because they know it's God's will, and doing this is the only way a person can be saved from Evil's hands. For example, how many Jehovah's Witnesses have you heard about getting arrested for drunk driving going home from a holiday celebration. And this is not the only thing, and I know what you wanna say, 'that doesn't happen all the time.' But if you think about it, all the celebrations, with the exception of the Memorial of Jesus' death, have some sort of pagan and tradition of past enemies of the Ancient Israelites, which was back then a God's chosen people. Even Christmas is a fake. Who started the Santa Clause thing? Who stated or chose Dec. 25th to celebrate Jesus' DOB? These are the types of questions you should looking into, if you really think of worshipping God with a full heart, and HIS way not your way.

church homes and denominations are like flower pots. If it style of feels you like the Lord yet locate your church isn't probable on your convenience then perhaps you're putting out to flower right into a baby of the King of Kings. A denomination starts you interior the expertise of the Lord. i do no longer understand of any different than the Mormon who coach any e book however the bible and The Mormons are based on the bible, the e book of Mormon itself claims it extremely is a witness the bible is actual. Any church then is sweet through fact it extremely is a place of nurturing. None of them is going to tell you, the bible is misguided. this is the place you start to be conscious in case you're a factor of the denomination you belong to or in case you're referred to as bigger. all the church homes inform you, all the bible is actual yet then the church practices issues that don't line up with the bible. Which do you suspect? in case you suspect the church then you certainly are area of the pot through fact the bible can in basic terms produce little childrens mutually as the denominations produce denominations. in case you suspect the bible is sweet and the church in basic terms in basic terms is misguided, then you certainly are no longer area of that denomination even nevertheless you're particularly like Moses and grew up in an odd abode, yet make you abode interior the referred to as out. The denominations have something that the different denominations do no longer. in case you pass to each then you certainly can study why the others are incorrect and the only the place you're is often the closest to the actual church. pass to sufficient diverse denominations, with an open coronary heart prepared to pay attention and you will come away with greater desirable than the great of all their awareness.

I wouldn't want to be a Jehovah's Witness because they have alot of error mixed with the truth and twist simple scriptures. I like celebrating but I don't have to keep pagan holidays to do it, instead I have a holiday every week on Saturday it's called God's holiday (holy day) The Sabbath. I follow the God's Word and God's Word alone and that gives me so much happiness and freedom.

I am happy being an atheist. I would not be a jw for several reasons:
1) I have children. I would like to know that if they needed a blood transfusion, then I would not be restricted to get them one.
2) I would not want to say that we could not celebrate holidays or my children's birthdays just because of some religion.
3) I do not like the fact that they go around knocking on people's doors, trying to force their religion down peoples throat, and if they don't agree with you, then you tell you that you are going to hell.

Here is why I wouldn't be A J.W. I believe you have to ask yourself the question, Which church is true, which church has all of the true authority that god would have in his one true church. And than once you have found that church, you do whatever you have to do to join it. And I can tell you that the J.W church is not that church.
Consider for a minute that each church out there is a little different. So, it stands to reason that not all church's can teach something different and have them all be right. SO, there is either only 1 true church autherised by god to opperate, or there are none. It is the quest of every memeber of the human race to figure out which one that is. Either only 1 is right, or they are all wrong together.

I'm not a JW... I know a few... I think they have the right idea about holidays though. Don't you think Christmas should be observed without the gifts? (I got a gift from Jane that didn't cost as much as the one my brother got.... I don't have any money but I know I have to buy John a gift because he bought me one, etc.) It's so crazy! I'm Assembly of God. I think they should not push their religion on people though. It makes us not like them.

Although I find JW theology impressive I feel it's really inconsistent. Then again, God's followers were inconsistent as well. I respect everyone's need for not wanting to be a witness of God. Personally under biblical scrutiny I feel they pass most of the test. Its just a matter of locking down my personality with god's norms as well as learning more from other sources before I start really considering them.

I would never want to be a JW because if I was I would not believe God, therefore making Him a liar. I would not know God, or know who Jesus really is, I would have no relationship with the Lord, I would not belong to Christ or be member of His church. I would be spiritually dead ans spiritually blind. Satan would be my father. I would be the blind being led by the blind and would end up in the pit. The lake of fire would be my destiny. I would be trying to work my way to God and working for my salvation, of course not making it. I would be afraid of Armageddon. I may end up a murderer if my family member needed a blood transfusion. I would be deceived and deceiving others and responsible for leading others down the pathway to destruction. Last but not least, I would stand before the Lord and boast and brag about all my brownie points I had accomplished, hoping that I had enough. I would also get to tell Jesus that He did not know who He really is and tell the Father that He did not know either and that He wrote the bible wrong but we corrected it for Him because we are in the truth.

Because it is a false religion. There is no salvation in following their teachings....it is an organization of the blind leading the blind. I like having the real Bible and the real truth. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I don't care about not celebrating the holidays. As it is I don't celebrate Halloween or Valentine's Day. For easter we have a big dinner and spend some time thinking about Jesus' death and resurrection but we have no chocolate, no easter bunny, no eggs. We are trying to move away from a Christmas celebration to a New Year's celebration. We don't have a Christmas tree or santa or any crap like that. So holidays aren't a biggie here.

I could never be one. First because I don't believe in the things they believe. Secondly I love my life as it is, full of friends, full of both fun and serious things. Door to door never fit me either. I am a control freak, I could never live with the idea that one day I'll need a blood transfusion and I won't be able to do it for religious reasons.
But overall I haven't found any organised religion to fit me.
