I think almost everyone gets reincarnated. An old soul may just be a more experience soul, because he/she has had more intense lifetimes. I don't believe we are meant to escape, from the types of balanced world we are placed in. Some spirits may not come back as often. But the spirit is not as effective, without a body. God has the whole universe as his body. We are here to contribute, to solving the many serious problems that exist in this world, so that it will have a better tomorrow. Our skill in doing this, will easily translate from one life to the next. Of course there is a big universe out there, with an awful lot of worlds and possibilities.

I believe that we all start out as being the smallest creature and make our way up the "food-chain" until we have acheived our perfectly balanced lives in each animal, then we become human. We must remain in the circle of reincarnation until we live a completely balanced life as a human, then we are freed. Yes someone can have an old soul.

reincarnation is in many religions. Mine included, so I do believe in it. I would think that every one does but it would be foolish of me to state that every one does as a fact because I just don't know. But people come back many times and there are older souls than others logically speaking if one does believe in reincarnation.

As any matter of faith - the answer depends on one's view. This is purely opinion.
As a Catholic, I don't believe anyone is reincarnated. After death, one goes to heaven or hell (save the topic of Purgatory for another question :D ). So no reincarnation.
I know it is not always correct, but wikipedia has a decent article on it and who believes in it

I think everyone gets reincarnated and your soul returns to Earth over and over again until you learn to become God like then you go to heaven.

I do not believe in reincarnation, I Believe in Jesus Christ. He came and died on a Cross to take away our sins. The Bible says it is appointed once unto a man to die and after that the judgement.Hebrew 9:27. If we are a Believer in Jesus Christ when we die we go to Heaven, if we are not then we will spend eternity with the devil in the lake of fire, that don't sound to promising. Jesus gave his life on the Cross at Calvery as a Perfect Sacrifice for Sins, the Bible says if we ask for forgiveness he will forgive us and make us clean, if you would like to have a Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ and make him Lord of your life just pray this Prayer of Faith and Jesus will give you a new start, just Pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. Old King Cole was a merry OLD soul.
Reincarnation is based on the immortality of the soul.
However, the soul is NOT immortal.
Not according to the Bible anyway .....Ezekial 18:4.

I WAS ALWAYS TOLD YOU DON'T GET REINCARNATED, I KNOW ALOT DO BELIEVE IN IT THOUGH..AM NOT SURE HONESTLY HOW I FEEL ABOUT IT EITHER..BUT IF THATS THE CASE I REALLY DON'T THINK I WOULD WANT TO COME BACK, BEING SAVED AND KNOWING WHERE I AM HEADED WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER THAN TO COME BACK AND TRY AGAIN....AM STILL AT WORK AND AM USINGS THE CAPS SORRY...
