I disclosed the one thing I was worried about and they said no problem. I am just worried that I am completey accurate with it and want to make sure that nothing else is there. To be specific, something else I did was supposedly wiped from my record after one year and I would like to verify that it indeed was wiped and won't show up.

Any and all arrests and convictions as an adult are subject to be placed on your official Criminal History Report. This report will list all offenses you are charged and / or convicted of in any place in the United States. This is maintained by the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) NCIC (National Crime Information Center) files. They are there FOREVER and NEVER go away. They can be accessed by law enforcement at anytime, or by contacting the state Attorney Generals Office of your state if you are doing a back ground check on some one. They can tell you how and if you can obtain an official Criminal History Report. If you want to get a Criminal History Report on yourself:
The Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) centralizes criminal justice information and provides accurate and timely information and services to local, state, federal, and international law enforcement agencies, the private sector, academia, and other government agencies. The subject of an identification record may obtain a copy thereof by submitting a written request to the CJIS . The request must be accompanied by satisfactory proof of identity (consisting of name, date and place of birth, and a set of roll-inked fingerprint impressions) and a certified check or money order for the $18 processing fee. The FBI will not provide copies of arrest records to individuals other than the subject of the record. Requests should be directed to FBI CJIS Division, Attn: SCU, Mod. D-2, 1000 Custer Hollow Rd., Clarksburg, West Virginia 26306. If there is no criminal record, a report reflecting this fact is provided.
One last note......... Juvenile records, unless you are adjudicated as an adult and charged in adult court are all sealed and only available to authorized government agencies. Not the public.
Also, depending on how deep the outfit digs....They will do a Credit Bureau check to include the big three bureaus. They will could and probably will contact all of your former employers.

It all depends how deep they dig, at a minimum they will discover any criminal arrests, your credit history, school records, and past employment history.
By the wording of your question, I can't help but think there is something you hope they won't find out. I can tell you dishonesty will eliminate you from most any job, so you are much better off disclosing everything. If they suspect deception, you will not be considered for any job.
As far as "how" you find out, look at the paperwork you signed. You should have signed a information disclosure, giving them permission to obtain information on you. It should contain a list of resources they plan to look into. That list should tell you what will turn up.

You need to contact the agency in the county you live in to make sure your record was cleared like it was supposed to be. Sometimes they let things like that slide - and you need to be proactive in taking care of it. Just call the non-emergency business number and ask how you can run your own background and it may cost you a few dollars. If there is anything wrong on it, then you'll know what needs fixing. If not, you mind is at ease. As long as you told the employer the truth, you should be OK as far as the job goes - just make sure you check that record and be sure that it is cleared like they said.

When a company does a background check, they will usually have a box that you check on the application that says "I would like to receive a free copy of my report". People get arrested everyday for things they didnt do (If I didnt like you, I could call the cops and say that you pushed me and that would be an automatic assault and battery on your record regardless if I can prove it or not and regardless if I have marks or not, happened to me with a security guard who was having a bad day and took it out on me for being smart mouthed with him) and prosecuters make sure they get convicted and public defenders make sure the case ends quickly no matter what the outcome so they can get to their next 30 cases that day. The legal system is a joke.

"How do you find out exactly what a background check will show?" - Run your own background check on you. Since I have never been arrested, charged with or found guilty of a crime I don't worry about it.
