In Firefox, whenever click a file and I have to choose what action to do with it, the icon corresponding to the file is the default blank icon file. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I'll use ".jpg" files for this example:

Windows XP, by default, opens JPG files using the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. When you install other photo programs, they often change the "file associations" in Windows. Adobe PhotoShop Album Starter 3.0 is an example.

To change the File Association, right-click on any JPG and choose "Open With >". Then click on "Choose Program..." Choose the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, then Check the "Always use this program to open this kind of file." Box, then OK. Now, Windows will use that app every time you double-click on a JPG, as it did when first installed.

This works for all other files types; ".doc" uses Word, ".pdf" uses Adobe Reader, etc.
