It is like under the skin i would say. Its not like a cole sore or something like that. I dont know what it is, but when i open my mouth to yawn it really hurts. could it be jaw cancer?

My son had something like that. His was an infection that burst in his mouth. Went to dentist straight away and that is what I recommend to you. Why wait for a mouth full of pus or worse, go NOW.

I am not sure what it is but you should call a DR to find out. You should do this soon because if it is something early detection is the best!

at the beginning one should not think that he will have bad things such as cancer, common things is commoner.
you may have infection and what you palpate is enlarge lymph node it is better to seek you Dr. advice
