Of course it does. First, the tree is making the noise, not the person who sees the tree fall. Also, the original person to come up with this question had to have seen AND heard the tree to ask this question in the first place.

thats a trick question but i beleive the answer is yes because if a tree falls in front of you it makes a noise so why not it make the same noise if it is not in front of you

of course it does. the tree hitting the ground is what makes the sound, not a person ear hearing it

yus. noise is sound waves cereated by vibrations...these waves are still present wether or not there is a pair of ears near enough to receive and interpret them.

yes it does. the thing is that no one heard it..but it still made noise, it doesnt matter if no one hears it. :)
