im 15. i wanted to see my gramma today now i cant because my mom wont let me use her phone. im also grounded becuz i ditched a cab last nite and didnt pay for it. i almost went to jail but my mom talked the cab driver out of it. help i want to see my gramma. i miss her. i hate my mom. she is a *********

sounds like you're an upstanding citizen yourself. Maybe you should think about what could happen before you do stuff. Ditching a cab (either way) would have made you miss your grandma. So, you could have missed her in jail, or missed her at home. Damn, your mom does sound bad...

First of all you sound like a handful. Why would you intentionally take a cab and not pay for it? His means of making a living has nothing to do with your anger so why would you take food from his kids? You need to give us way more details for anyone to give you advice. Your mom may
have many reasons that we don't know about for us to help you with your problem and the only thing we know about is your mom is "mean" because you she is punishing you for something you did so she took the phone away. What did you do to get that consequence? And she only grounded you for ditching the cab. I would have grounded you and made you write an apology to the cab driver! So whats really going on? I think you should sit down with your mom and find a way to get along with her. Or fill us in with more details(from both sides ) so we can help. And if you are just missing grandma because she helps you out of your troubles shes just enabling you. You know you could suggest family counseling where
you ALL could go to figure out how to get along. As for looking for people to take your side and say what you want to hear I don't think you will get it from here as you haven't given us a good enough reason, quite the contrary. I hope you
do some soul searching so that you don't lose all those around that really love you.

Maybe your mother is not letting you do what you want to do because you are not doing the right things.

Ditching a cab is NOT cool... you're lucky your mom got you out of that mess... she shouldn't have... maybe then you would have learned a lesson.

I'm not trying to be mean. I understand what it's like to be 15 and think you know it all, but trust me, you don't and you will see that too one day.

For now, try maybe not ditching cabs and calling your mom a B.****. Maybe if you start doing the right things, your mom will let you do more of the things you want to do.

Sounds like you have a very caring mom - she kept you out of jail didnt she ??
If your grounded - that means you dont go any wheres or use the phone etc .So you'll have to searve your punishment out and then you can get in t ouch with your granmom.
If your that unhappy at home - maybe you need to talk to a councelor at sschool,and maybe see about moving in with your granmom.
I was raised by my grandmom,and I too hated my mom and thought bad things of her,but you know what - now when I wished she was there - she's not.
Us moms are overprotective,and we may seem a bit harsh at times,but we do it for your own good. Someday you will realise and understand why your mom did what she did.
Your mad because your grounded and cant see your granmom - but you pulled a fast one - and now you have to serve your punishment and then you can talk to your granmom again

Sounds like your mom is just doing her best to raise someone that's clearly a spoiled brat. She should've let you go to jail so you could understand that there are consequences to your actions and you can't go running to gramma everytime you get in trouble. Respect what your mother says. She loves you and she wants to you to have a good life, not end up knocked up or in jail a year down the road.
