Alright so Saul's walking down the road 30 years after Jesus died and suddenly Jesus pops up out of thin air and tells him that he's his prophet? This is a farce just like the angels Moroni and Gabriel.

He was alone on the road to Damscus. Christians do not have faith in Jesus, only Saul.

You have got it all wrong. Saul was alive when Jesus was. He was receiving his teaching at the feet of the Sanhedrin. He was their star. Then he goes out within months of Christs' resurrection and begins to persecute the Christians. Not only persecute, but killing them also, in the name of Jewish tradition and sedition laws.

Saul is walking down the road and is blinded by the love, mercy, and grace of Jesus. He is taken in and cared for. Then spends several years getting ready for the mission that God has in store for him.

Paul IS NOT a prophet, he never claims this. He is an emissary of Christians bringing the Good News to all Gentiles, as should have been done by the Israelites. That is the reason Meggido is so important a city- it is the meeting point of all the roads to other nations. Jewish traditions were to have been spread to all the world and even gentiles were meant to become a member of the family of Israel.

Paul, like Jesus, preached and lived amongst the outcasts and those rejected by others. He lived as they did and he taught them. There is NO Christian alive back then, or now, who worships Paul before Jesus. NEVER, NOT ONCE did Paul ever put himself before his Lord and Saviour.

Reread Acts and all of Paul's letters. Read a couple chapters a day. Then you will come to understand that Paul is completely different than Mr. Smith and muhammed. Both claim something that Paul never claimed. Paul never claimed to be a prophet. He was an outstanding speaker, orator, and debator, but not a prophet.

What he spoke about, he was taught by the Holy Spirit who inhabited Paul's heart, mind, and soul. The only control he had over it was to whom he spoke and how long he stayed there.

"Christians do not have faith in Jesus, only Saul."

I'm not sure which is more absurd: your false blanket statement, or the delusion that you know what others believe in. A false prophet ( I'm calling Paul a prophet simply for the sake of argument ) would not martyr himself so willingly. A false prophet has only one goal: a lust for power.

The teachings that Saul (Paul) received were completely congruent with the teachings already received by the other remaining 11 Apostles.

The teachings of Joseph Smith, Muhammad, Ellen G. White, Mary Baker Eddy, Charles Taze Russell, and many more are not in keeping with Jesus' teachings.

He wasn't a prophet, he was an Apostle. And he wasn't alone, he was with several other people when he was on the road and heard Jesus. His companions heard the voice but did not see anyone talking.

Then Paul was struck blind and another believer miraculously came to him, knowing he was blind without being told, to heal him and restore him to sight.

Paul not a prophet???

Since when are apostles not prophets?

So where did all the prophecy given to John in the book of Revelation come from?

What an ignorant and biased comparison of Prophet Mohammad with Joseph Smith based on hatred that most of the people carry against Islam on this forum?

How many people know Joseph Smith as compared to 1.3 billion followers of Prophet Mohammad who glorify and pray for Mohammad's soul five times a day,

Michael Hart author of
"Most Influence men in the History of Mankind" and their gradation

chose Mohammad the Messenger of God and Islam as the # 1 most inluential man. This is a fact you can verify in the Library. Does it hurt to hear this. He gave Jesus Christ #5 in the list. Jesus is your God or the Only Son of God. Most of His followers the Christians have very little faith. Even in his life his closest companions betrayed him and reported to Romans on him. Think of the faith and love they had for their God.

Whereas companions of Mohammad gave their backs and chesst to the arrows of enemies but not let Mohammad get hurt.

Can any one say the same about any leader in human history whose followers were so devoted that they felt honor to give their lives to protect their Prophet. Remember they were devoted volunteers in wars. Neither they were paid soldiers nor the paid body guards of Mohammad SAW. (peace be upon him).

Christianity has no comparison whatsoever with the Prophet of Islam and the devotion of Muslims in worshipping their God, or fighting enemies of Islam or living a clean life without promiscuous life style that west is riddled with.

He's different from Joseph Smith because he's been dead for longer. Age gives an air of authenticity. Hes not really that different from Mohammad, just had a different deity to talk about.
