I would try being married first!

If you are not ready then enough said, you are doing the right thing in waiting... for it is a hard job. If your bf wants children, why not marry because he could leave, and you would have to bare the burden alone, are you ready for that. There are a lot of consideration to consider when thinking of having children, try planting that thought in his mind, and maybe he will see the big picture. I am loving your thoughts in not being push into something you know you are not ready for...good show.

Not a step to be taken lightly. Truth be told - even people who think they are ready realize after awhile that they were not as ready as they thought. My general rule for people is this: Whenever you think you are ready - wait an extra year or two - then do it. Parenting is tough and not a part time job either.

Remember who will be stuck with those kids two-three years down the line when some hottie turns his head..

Better to wait until he marries you , before even thinking about kids....

You should tell him you are not ready! You dont want to bring a child in this world without being ready. It is such a big responsibillity!

Tell him that. You don't have to say never, but make it clear that you are not ready yet.
